I received my PhD in Theoretical Physics from University of São Paulo, 2001. From 2001 to 2004, I was a postdoc at the University of São Paulo (USP), CALTECH (USA) and University of Campinas (Brazil). Currently, I am Associate Professor at the Physics Department at Federal University of Pernambuco. My current research interests include evolutionary biology, population genetics, theoretical ecology and evolutionary game theory.
