I am fascinated to better understand what contributes to shape local persistence and distribution of plants, especially in insular systems. My research is therefore centered in trait-based ecology, functional biogeography and biodiversity conservation of plants, working at different organizational levels and spatial scales. I am also interested in "habits" of scientific writing and publishing (e.g. language use, scientometrics).
