Areas of expertise
My research is dedicated to understanding the mechanisms that maintain biodiversity and the coexistence of species with diverse morphological traits. To address these questions, I employ a multidisciplinary approach that integrates theoretical modeling, bioinformatics, and machine learning. My interests span a wide range of topics, including species interactions on macro eco-evolutionary scales, species coexistence theory, oceanic modeling, and trait-based approaches. Recently, I have developed a strong interest in applying machine learning techniques to problems in ecology and evolution, aiming to uncover patterns and processes that traditional methods may overlook.
