I work on different aspects of the ecology of infectious diseases driven by fundamental questions of human, livestock and wildlife concern. I use an interdisciplinary approach that spans from immunology to epidemiology and is based on long-term field monitoring, field and lab experimental manipulations, statistical analysis and modeling. We primarily focus on gastrointestinal helminths but also work on bacteria and viruses.
